“Mr. & Mrs. Daruk, you need to prepare yourselves. Isaiah went far too long without oxygen to his brain. He WILL suffer brain damage as a result,” said the NICU doctor. Nurses echoed his sentiments as tears streamed down their faces nine years ago.

“Mom, I wrote you something today,” Isaiah said as he handed me a folded piece of paper this week.

A sparkling diamond, a nugget of gold or a treasure box filled to the brim with either of them couldn’t hold a candle to this letter. He poured out his heart with this precious letter so I filled it back up just as he asked. With hugs and kisses – and more hugs and more kisses – and even just a few more after that!

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.  -Luke 18:27

    1. Thank you Rebekah, He certainly is. I can’t look at Isaiah without seeing just how wonderful!
