MOMMY NEEDS JESUS TOO

MOMMY NEEDS JESUS TOO

In order for a person to earn the title of teacher, they must first become a bit of an expert. Extensive education, experience, or both, paves the way for them to one day instruct others.

A head chef doesn’t make his way to the top without being a cook first.

A chief executive officer doesn’t lead an entire organization without first learning the ropes.

The same is true in our walk with Christ. We must be found faithful, dare I say content, in the seemingly small and mundane things before moving on to bigger ones.

But motherhood…

It seems to be a bit of an exception to this rule. No experience required huh? My lack of it hits me square in the face. Daily. Hourly even.

This quote couldn’t be more true in my case. In every single situation as a mother, I’m reminded of my own insufficiency and desperate need for Christ.

I wrote an article recently for Just18Summers and I’d love to share it with you. It’s entitled, Mommy Needs Jesus Too

I’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

  • What are your biggest struggles as a mother?
  • What did you think about this quote? Did it hit you the same way it hit me?

I look forward to hearing from you.
