HOW DO YOUR CHILDREN SEE YOU?
Updated: Mar 25, 2019
Have you ever traveled to an exotic land or stood on a mountain top with a breathtaking view? I'm not a big traveler, so I tend to enjoy these types of views from the safety of a PBS special, nonetheless, I have seem some pretty incredible views.
The upstairs hallway in my home gives a beautifully open view of our downstairs living room. Last night while in the hallway, I glanced down and the view was captivating.
Three little boys lay covered in blankets.
Yep, that's it.
Oh, to many it wouldn't have been spectacular, but to me it was. Gazing at each of them, I didn't recall their bickering earlier in the day, or their complains about doing their homework. I simply saw three precious gifts handpicked for me by God. Happy and content. Warm and well fed. And, perhaps the biggest of all, healthy.
From up top, the perspective is so different.
I had the privilege of writing for Just 18 Summers again this month. My post, Through the Eyes of Love, came out an experience I had recently with one of my sons.
I hope you will read and be reminded that the Father's view of you is simply stunning.
